- Are you affiliated with Thermador?
- Palm Row Appliance Co. is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Thermador or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.
- What does a visit cost?
- Flat $129 diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you approve the work. You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or fitted. We do not quote a repair price over the phone, because a built-in appliance cannot be diagnosed down a phone line and a number given before anyone has opened it is a guess.
- Do you work on brands other than Thermador?
- No. Palm Row Appliance Co. services Thermador appliances only. Parts, service literature and failure patterns do not transfer between manufacturers, and a technician who claims every brand is equally familiar is describing a longer diagnostic, not a shorter one.
- What is covered after the repair?
- 90 days on labor and 365 days on parts. Genuine OEM parts on every repair. The labor term runs from the day the work is completed; the parts term is the part manufacturer's own cover, which we administer for you.
- Which areas do you cover?
- Nocatee and St. Johns County first — Coastal Oaks, Twenty Mile, Del Webb Nocatee, Greenleaf Village, Seabrook Village, Crosswater, Lakeside are all inside ZIP 32081 — then the surrounding metro within 40 miles. This is a mobile operation: there is no walk-in counter and no published street address.
- When can you come out?
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 4:00pm. Calls are returned during business hours. We do not run overnight or emergency service.
- How long does a part usually take to arrive?
- It depends on what the rating plate says, not on the model alone. Built-in appliances carry components that are specific to a serial-number range — boards with a firmware revision, hinge cassettes, seals whose profile changed mid-production — so we read the plate before ordering. Common wear parts are usually days; a serial-specific or superseded component can be longer, and we tell you the expected wait in writing before you approve it.
- Can you service the appliance without pulling it out?
- Often, yes. Most wall-oven, dishwasher and hood work is done from the front with the trim and control panel off. Refrigeration columns and coffee machines sometimes have to come forward on their rails, which needs the flooring protected and the water line and circuit isolated first. We check access and clearance at the diagnostic and tell you what a repair will involve before anything is disturbed.
- Do you use original parts?
- Genuine OEM parts. Where a part is genuinely unavailable we say so and explain the options rather than fitting a substitute and calling it the same thing. Some sealed-system components are not sold to independent trade at all, and that is a limit we will tell you about before you spend the diagnostic fee, not after.
- Do you offer emergency or overnight service?
- No. We do not run overnight, holiday or same-night emergency service, and we do not charge an emergency rate. If an appliance is leaking or smells of gas, isolate it at the shutoff or the breaker and call the utility, not us.
- Who does the sealed-system work?
- Sealed-system work is carried out by EPA Section 608 certified technicians. Insured, background-checked technicians.
- How do I book?
- Call +1 (904) 867-2707 during business hours. Have the appliance type and, if you can reach it, the rating plate to hand — it is usually behind the door or on the side of the cabinet opening. Describe the symptom in the order it happens; that is worth more than any guess at a part name.
Anything not answered here is worth a phone call. We service Thermador appliances only, so a question about another brand has an honest one-word answer and we would rather give it quickly.
